Dear God, we gather before You this day with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence. We acknowledge Your constant presence in our lives and marvel at Your unconditional love for us.
Lord, just as John reminded us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with You and was God, we praise You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the living incarnation of that Word.
He came to illuminate our lives with His inexhaustible truth and love. As a bright light in the darkness, He dispelled the shadows of sin and despair, bringing us hope and salvation.
Loving God, as we contemplate the work of Your hands, we marvel at the way Your light shines upon us each morning.
Just as the sun rises on the horizon, You bless us with a new dawn every day…
Renewing our strength and reminding us of Your constant care. May we receive each morning as a gift of Your grace, and may our life be a song of praise for Your faithfulness.
Lord, just as John was sent as a witness to bear witness to the light, may we also be instruments of Your light in this world.
May our words and actions reflect Your truth and love, illuminating the hearts of those who are lost in the darkness of sin.
Enable us to be bearers of Your light wherever we go, spreading hope and inspiration to those around us.
